KICK'N TECH

The intended purpose of this site is to get people excited about all the unbelievable new technology that is emerging. I have not seen a tech site that is as exciting as the information the information they are presenting. Admittedly, the site just displays articles I have taken from other technology sites. However, I give credit to the author(s) of the material and provide links to the sites I have pulled the articles from.

One of the most noticeable features of the site is the header. I originally wanted the website name to look like clear glass. However, I felt that it did not look “tech” enough. So I went with a bright green and also added a lot of depth, which gives a 3-D effect. The header was done in two parts using Blender and combined in Photoshop. When I decided the green was a better way to go I realized a black background would enable me to use a bright green to make certain parts of the site look as if they are lit up. The site was coded in PHP and pulls the articles and images from a MySQL database.
